Week 4

Learning what is the importance of line of action and how silhouette or negative space that provides a large area can show the most information. The negative space or the silhouette should be able to express what is the action is. For example for happiness, it could be someone who is jumping with their hands wide open.


Exercise 3

Emotion Pose (Scared)


First step:

Find a reference image and paste it into animate

Second step:

Draw a line of action while using the image as an reference

Third step:

Using the line of action as a base, draw the structure form of the emotion pose

Fourth step:

Making the silhouette of the emotion pose while using the image as a reference

Fifth step:

Draw another structure pose that is contrasting on the silhouette

Sixth step:

Draw the basic form of the emotion pose while using the reference picture

Final step:

Inserting the steps of the emotion pose in the animation such as:

1. Line of action
2. Structure & Proportion 
3. Silhouette
4. Basic Form
